Meet your own creativity.

Tell your story.

¡The POINT! is both a destination and invitation, specifically designed to witness, engage, and support careworkers in all sectors.

a diverse, smiling group of people stand in a circle inside a brightly colored booth, singing a song and playing guitar.

Why and how did you begin your journey here?

What is the point and purpose of your work?

These can be loaded questions, so we’ve created a place where you can engage them in play. We invite you to find some joy, delight, rest and reflection while making and reconnecting to your point through:

  • Creating a short songs can be therapeutic for a moment of clarity and reflection in a busy conference or something you carry with you forever. We build these meaningful short songs to be packed with meaning and fit into a healthy habit or ritual. Speak with or join an activity with a songwriter to make creative decisions, jump into flow, and walk out with what may be the first song you’ve ever written. This feeling is not one you will soon forget.

  • A song is a short story. Which story to tell is what our professional songwriters help discover. This may be a message you want to sing yourself daily of competence. It could be a validation that lifts you up. Perhaps it’s only a few words that, when given value and framing through melody, remind you of your values and keep you aligned and in tune.

  • Learn to use your body as an instrument. Sing, stomp, clap, and tap with our “Vocussion” workshop. Create a movement with the words you just wrote, or perhaps the movement and percussion inspire lyrics to a new song. Embodying your song or learning a piece with our teaching artist will wake you up and provide not only your lungs but your body a much-needed voice.

¡The Point! is dynamic.

Our team of teaching artists and facilitators will meet you where you are to curate programming that aligns with your team’s goals. Contact us to explore onsite offerings and virtual workshops in 2026.

  • “Get rhythm when you’ve got the blues!” Johnny Cash famously snarled. Learn new syncopated beats, grab a drum, shakers, the back of a guitar, a stomp on our portable dancefloor, and begin from there. Our teaching artists will work with you to “build around the beat.”

  • Studies show that singing in groups is beneficial for our well-being. We’ve evolved over thousands of years to sing for everything from hunting chants and spirituals to lullabies. Gather in a group for a flash choir, find layers of harmony with our musicians, learn a classic together, or sing something fresh off the press that you’ve created together in the moment. This will no doubt be a great way to build teamwork and create memorable and joyful moments.

  • As participants reflect and create in flow with our artists and at our stations, a unique piece of co-created art will form with under our visual artists direction. This serves as a visual reminder of the whole, of what we are doing together. This is a meeting point, a starting point, a point for pictures and memories. It will also be an easy and beautiful way for anyone to participate in the moment we are cultivating together.

  • “Out of my comfort zone… and into something beautiful.”
